The second tradition is something that I have seen many of my siblings do that I quite like, This and all of the traditions in this note are more in line with the spiritual. When my grandma Died on my Dads side she left each one of us a Chair that she used in her kitchen, The chairs were antique and had been in the family for quite some time. My siblings have made these chairs the blessing chairs in the house. The chairs are only used for fathers blessings and if an ordination takes place within the walls of the house. This is another tradition that I would like to continue when I have a family of my own

This is something I didn't even know about. I feel a little sad reading it because I probably won't ever have one of those chairs (not that I'd have room anyway). I'm glad you are thinking about traditions. That's really neat.
I think that its a great thing that you HAD traditions in your family.... to pass on when you have a family of your own.... Loved the story of the bell... ;0)
